Overview

The second project I took on alone after Mir Holding: a bilingual corporate site organised around the expert team, the system they apply, its documents and its references. Taking the same responsibility a second time showed me which of my earlier decisions had actually been right.

Explaining the method, not the service

For technical services like this, customers look for an answer to "will this be done properly?" long before they compare prices. So "Our System" sits at the centre of the navigation: how the work is done, step by step.

"Detailed analysis and permanent solutions" is only a slogan on its own. What made it credible was the documents and reference list that follow it — pages showing what stands behind the claim.

I think the most common mistake on corporate sites is talking about the company instead of the work. Here I reversed the order: the work first, the company second.

Two intents, two paths

The audience here would rather message than fill in a form, so a persistent WhatsApp button sits on every page, while the contact page stays for corporate enquiries that need detail.

Opening two separate paths instead of forcing one form on everyone was the most accurate decision I made on this project. Visitors need different points of contact depending on how ready they are.

Same skeleton, different voice

Mir Holding and Mirline are technically very similar sites, yet one presents a corporate umbrella and the other a team working on site.

Building two distinct characters out of the same components, using only typography, colour and photography, was the most instructive part of this project. A good component library should carry the brand, not sit on top of it.

What I brought from the first site to the second was not code but decisions. Not having to solve the same problems twice is the most concrete form of getting faster as a developer.
